Medical high-tech also means state-of-the-art aircraft. The list of aircraft at present available to Tyrol Air Ambulance shows the importance of transporting patients quickly and safely. The fleet is headed by a Dornier 328 Jet and two Dornier 328 Turboprops, which combine the performance and cabin comfort of a jet with the economy of a turboprop. The Dornier 328s can take four intensive care patients and are the best-equipped ambulance aircraft in the EU.
Citation V and Citation Bravo ambulance jets are also available for single and twin patient transportation.
