The ambulance jets and ambulance airliners operating as an intensive care unit contain among other things:

- Triple-injection drivers
- Mini-lab (blood gas analysis, blood sugar, electrolytes, haemoglobin, hematocrit)
- Suction unit
- Defibrillators
- Anti-pressure-ulcer mattress, vacuum mattress
- External and internal pacemakers
- Doctors's kit for patient transport between hospital and airport
- Burnpak burn kit
- Cervical collars
- Chest drain set
- Central venous catheter set
- DANIS Set (Oesophagusstent)
- Paediatric ICU (for infants and small children up to 1m body size) with Babymix 2 or Babylog 2000 ventilator
- Incubator Dräger 5400 with Babylog 2000 ventilator and multiple injection drivers
- 220 V AC
The permanent ambulance installations of the ambulance jets and helicopters were developed by Tyrol Air Ambulance together with Air Ambulance Technology and produced and certificated by Air Ambulance Technology in Ranshofen (Upper Austria).
